Classics is back, and this time it’s taking a tour in Japan! But can the Classics figures get any better? Takara seems to think so, and they hope that some new colorations will do the trick!
Takara’s Classics line promises more anime-accurate color schemes. Just what this means yet, we do not know, but we expect each figure to be as close as possible to the G1 appearance!
Optimus Prime is the ever-recognizable leader of the Autobots. Though a little different from his original form, he retains that classic feel of power and nobility that made him so popular long ago! This edition of the mold sports a new color scheme, with added silver, and different shades of red and blue than the US edition of the mold. The paint scheme is even styled more like the G1 figure, and includes chrome on the grille and bumper!
